I am sure our readers know that McDonald’s has been under the knife lately. Hence, the management has made a move to renovate the restaurants and add some oomph factor to their image and give the company a contemporary edge. Accepting challenge of reinvigorating McDonald’s across Australia, the forward thinking team at Juicy injected a fresh vibe that also reflected the unique aspects of each store’s environment. Their hard work came through with redesign of the Strand location McDonald’s, on George Street in Sydney. The building was at one time a bank and the previous standard retail fit out had hidden the original features. These were exposed, repaired and repainted. One of the key things used to reproduce the original ambiance is patterned customer wallpaper, specified through Flash Proposition. The use of the wallpaper reflects not only the desire to reproduce the original look and feel of the historic space, but also the modern resurgence of wallpaper as a branding tool. These newly redesigned restaurants were a smash hit. From the awesome lighting to the stylish yet comfortable seating, the new spaces provide a modern, relaxed atmosphere for patrons. The designer Juicy is now in the process of working their McDonald magic around the globe.
