On first sight, the first thing that strikes you about this apartment which lies in the heart of Brisbane is the ambiance of luxury. Moreover, the furnishing and the decor is very masculine. There is nothing feminine about this apartment; it is the sort of apartment which in all probability would belong to a single man. This luxury Riperian Plaza apartment lies on the dizzyingly high 48th floor and offers a spectacular view of Brisbane including the Moreton Bay Coast. The architect cum interior designer Noel Robinson who is the founder of Noel Robinson architects has designed this apartment which is also his personal residence and sanctuary. The Riperian Plaza apartment also has the distinction of being Brisbane’s first mixed-use elite, high-rise development and also the only apartment in Riperian Plaza to be created from a blank canvas.
The decor consists of French Oak parquetry floors, Grey Oak wood paneling and French Limestone tiles. Three bedrooms all of which provide vantage points to enjoy panoramic and breathtaking views of the great city of Brisbane, master suite with ensuite and dressing room, an incredibly spacious lounge, a dining area and an equally spacious kitchen, media room, board room and a function room comprise the interiors. The kitchen design is sleek with recessed appliances, there are stainless steel electrical fittings, laundry with build-in Hapele LCD TV & built-in ironing board and there are three parking spaces in the building. The Kitchen manufacturer is Danish Quality Furniture, Doors and windows are from G James, the Living room furniture is Ralph Lauren from Robertsons Furniture,
dining table custom designed by Noel Robinson, Lighting is Caribou Lighting and Louis Poulsen, Wall covering and upholstery is from Wilson Fabrics & Wall Coverings, Home automation is from Bose, Kitchen benches are from Mink and stainless steel from CaesarStone. The Oven, cooktop and ventilation are from Ilve, Microwave and dishwasher from Miele, Refrigeration from Kleenmaid, Bathroom taps and fittings from Vola from Dedece and the Vanity, toilet and bath are from Rogerseller.
The apartment has a modernist exterior consisting of curved and cantilevered balconies whereas the interior is ultra sleek and very contemporary. There is a custom built curved wall which tapers towards the entrance, floor to ceiling frameless glass doors and 2.7 metres nominal ceilings. The tower itself is one of the most iconic structures in Brisbane due its very striking and innovative exterior of upper residential floors with compositely stacked balconies which give an curvilinear appearance. The cantilevered balconies curve in and out beyond each apartment which leaves an open sky overhead. Noel Robinson Architects is an award winning architectural and design firm which has designed projects all over the world and has been acclaimed for establishing benchmarks for urban planning, interior design and innovative architecture.
