Gorgeous Greek Holiday – On Great Looking Corfu Island

There are two motorways GR-24 in the northwest and GR-25 in the south. Also ferry services including what is known as Flying Dolphins are available. Thanks to all these facilities, Corfu Island is well connected and easy to reach.

The second largest Ionian island has a lot of historically important attractions for visiting due to its long association with Greece. Palaio Frourio – old citadel, Neo Frourio – the new citadel, old city, and Pontikonisi, music pavilion and the Ano and Kato plateria, the Gardens of Palaces and museum of Asian Art – all are a must see for visitors as well beautiful coasts and mountains. The old town area is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Gardens of Palaces is a treasure trove of exotic trees and aquariums of stone etc. The whole island still retains the quaint old world charm of traditionally magnificent 15th-16th century architecture with cobbled stone-ways and castle remnants.

Olive groves and orchards abound offering the visitors a quiet and serene ambiance away from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day stress and tension.
