The Blue Lagoon is located only a 20-minute drive from Keflavík International Airport and 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik city center; nearby town is Grindavik. The geothermal spa is situated right in the middle of a lava field. The water looks milky blue and looks quite unbelievably surreal. The water is mineral rich with silica and sulphur.
